  • Angel numbers on the scale.
  • Board game night with Frank, Marie and Margit. It was so lovely to be surrounded by old friends - a rare treat these days.
  • The very bright first full moon of the new year (2026 is a year with 13 full moons!)
  • Recreating a selfie from one year ago during a walk through the forest with C. (we also installed Elke's double-headed poppet behind the bunny shrine).
  • A morning to myself, alone in the apartment.
  • Meeting my new therapy group for the first time. Someone casually asked if I am in fact not challenged enough or understimulated. An interesting truth... because in a way I probably am. An interesting perspective when all I seem to deal with is sensory overwhelm and managing my energy.
  • Running my hand over my soft velveteen sweatpants.
  • Remembering the little tub of lip peeling I had in the bathroom as the perfect remedy for my chapped lips.
  • Making my favourite Thai curry at home.
  • Sparkling glitter snow in the bright moonlight.
  • Smoking a little bit of Tommy and Saskia's Christmas present for C. Tucking our heads together on the sofa under the green fur blanket. Gentle touch, scratches, massage. Climbing into bed next to him with our butts touching. My docking station for warmth.
  • My favourite black cat Thea visiting me in the early morning hoping for cuddles.
  • 1111 everywhere.
  • My first Pilates class of the year. I really liked it - and Barbara, the instructor. She's also one of the co-founders of Praxiskollektiv and Kulturbahnhof. Talking to me inspired me to think about creative classes or therapy sessions I could offer on a regular basis.
  • Spending a little bit of money on flowers and animal food most days I go shopping.
  • Talking to Aljoscha on the phone. I realized I miss spending time with my friends.
  • Cuddle sessions with C. Being super weird but affectionate around each other.
  • Charlie climbing up onto my shoulder when I sit outside at night.
  • The starry sky on clear, cold nights.
  • Painting so much. Allowing myself to work on several pieces at the same time.
  • Interesting parts work / somatic experiencing sessions with Jeanne and Alexander. Realising once again: movement is the answer. Getting out of resistance mode. Letting everything flow through you.
  • A very nourishing week in Oberwarmensteinach where I attended the Lover's Journey seminar. It was lovely to sleep in the same room as last time and get to know so many new people. I especially loved the little "family" chosen by my subconscious: Ben (dad), Hanna (mum) and Valentina (my sibling). I noticed how familiar they feel to me and when we talked about Human Design and our birth charts on the last evening it dawned on me: they all have very similar placements to my real family. / Marrying myself. Being led to the altar by Ben, my daddy for a week (who also lifted me up into the air and told me that I'm light as a feather). Für mich soll's rote Rosen regnen, kissing the bride, four rings on my fingers (an old one, a new one, a borrowed and a blue one). / Promising myself to live in my body from now on. Showing my battlefield to the group by standing on stage naked. / An imaginary confrontation with my dad and other men from my past. Telling them how they made me suffer, influenced me - and what I would have needed instead. Emotional.
  • Game nights with Margit, Frank, Marie, Christian (and Manu for the remote Jackbox-ing).
  • Pilates with Barbara. The movements feel really good. It's probably a good idea to take a break from yoga and focus on building strength and stability.
  • All the feline love from Charlie (who might be in love with me).
  • Playing It Takes Two with C., a collaborative PC game.
  • The first strawberries of the year. And planting snowdrops. Pink flowers on the dinner table. Spring is slowly moving in. I also finally got rid of the Christmas tree - just in time for February.
