- Les Petits Mouchoirs - not many movies can make me laugh out loud and start sobbing at the same time.
- Napping with Bert. Drinking ice cold elderflower cider on a hot summer day. Driving through Austria, listening to good music. Late afternoon.
- Watching tiny fluffy bunnies and hungry turtles at the zoo shop.
- Lying in the hammock, enjoying the cat's company, reading a whole book in one afternoon.
- Sewing a skirt out of lovely floral dirndl-fabric.
- All kinds of great smells wavering through the air - cotton candy, autumnal and smoky, Mediterranean Sea (in the middle of Lower Bavaria), the hairy forearm of a person you like...
- The comforting feeling of being loved.
- Actually talking to my mum, for example about my flings. She said I keep surprising her.
- Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadow in Permanent Taupe .
- The huge bright moon.
- A really nice drawing at the Akademie-exhibition in Munich. Also the old building's architecture.
- The fact that most public floor plates in Munich cover exactly the length of one of my steps. Makes me think of Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets .
- Being with a man who's affectionate and adores the shit out of me. Although I don't necessarily share his feelings it's really nice for a change. Goodbye, emotionally distant asshole-men? (For example he went back to an exhibition today in order to look up an artist for me and I didn't even ask for it!)
- Excellent music at Hoffestival (Especially MACK and Five Shades Darker ). Baby kittens. A fucking delicious chickpea salad with feta, sundried tomatoes, lemon and mint. Painting on a community canvas, a wonderful beduin tent with beautiful carpets and handmade chairs.
- "Studyblue" online flashcards (I made some for English words I just can't seem to remember).
- Drawing more! For example I enjoyed drawing little comic sequences about everyday events or special moments. And, as always, drawing the ladies and their nice clothes.
- Speaking of clothes: the joy of buying a really nice dress (and wearing it, of course). And shopping at the thrift store. Weird and exciting buys!
- Yoghurt with Ahoj Brause.
- Eating honeydew melon and actually liking it (I'm usually not much of a melon person).
- Taubenschwänzchen - local butterflies which can easily be mistaken for colibris.
- Julienne cut cucumber salad. Healthy spaghetti feeling. And sour cream with everything.
- Nightswimming at the lake. A creepy feeling, being surrounded by black nothingness. Lying on an island in the lake, all wet and cold. Distant thunderstorms. Swimming back, watching the stars. Seeing the most incredible shooting stars - big, slow and bright. I must be in for some good wishes... Also: bats.
