  • A healthier approach to my diet. Shopping at the whole food store.
  • My first homegrown mushroom! It's huge. Even opened the lid on the box. Gotta love my mushroom growing kit.
  • Favourite breakfast: soy yoghurt, fresh fruit, healthy cereals, some flaxseeds and nuts or ground coconut.
  • Strawberry season. The first really ripe and sweet ones.
  • A much better relationship to my brother who's actually really supportive, warm and lovable.
  • Rapunzel coconut bars (nasty but woah, delicious).
  • Mashed avocado with tomatoes, onions, lemon, parsley and a whole lot of chickpeas.
  • Sleeping. My blankie. Long walks and sunshine. The rare feeling that everything is good just as it is and to realise that I'm OK.
  • A beautiful water bottle with printed lemons and a purple silk skirt from the second hand store.
  • Baking a vegan chocolate cake (decorated with berries and flowers) AND the amazing vegan special edition of the Veggie magazine.
  • Holding my face into the last evening sunbeams like a lazy cat.
  • Taking walks with my mum.
  • Sunday: serious pre-cooking session. I made couscous salad, broccoli soup, crackers and chia pudding. Also I cooked a huge pot of rice and potatoes.
  • Pinata cake.
  • Tom Tykwer's Three - excellent movie. Her by Spike Jonze was good as well.
  • Sleeping in a freshly made bed (I suppose I keep mentioning this every month).
  • Tiny ducklings speeding after their mum.
  • White chocolate mousse.
  • Projektionsopfer.
  • Light night Aperol Spritz with dry ice, enjoyed amonst four lovely ladies on one of the first genuinely warm nights this year.
  • Poppy flower fields.
  • Indian food.
  • A duck. Sitting on a roof. At first I thought: wow, that's pretty fat for a pidgeon...
  • Frank's promise to cook spicy Asian soup and tiramisu for me on the day of my teaching exam (with champagne if I get a good grade and, well, vodka if it's really bad).
  • Very very gentle strokes.
  • A tiny potato cheering me on.
  • The super beautiful red cat I keep seeing around the neighbourhood. Unfortunately it's shy... not my favourite type of cat.
  • I had to realise that I got a tiny bit more organised over the last months. This job is really taking its toll on my personality. For better or worse?
  • Ciabatta with sepia. Though eating black bread feels rather weird...
