• My dearest friend and safety husband gave me a PS2!! Singstar 80s! Singstar 90s! Buzz! YES! #sing until your throat hurts
  • Little presents from my mum: a peanut-shaped eraser and a stunning emerald green pendant
  • Nestling - it's all about comfort now that it's cold as shit again. I bought extremely plushy pink bed socks, they're amazing. Spicy winter tea, well moisturised skin, knitting.
  • Nostalgia - I thought about my gran a lot this week, when I had pickles and red fruit jelly with vanilla sauce; and when I made Semmelknödel... I was thinking of the simple food she enjoyed and about her favourite Christmas cookie recipes. I miss her, I'd like to be able to talk to her again. (oh, and: presliced pickles? Best invention ever.)
  • Marita and Kathi. Girls, I love you, really. I wish we would see each other more often. I enjoy spending time with you. Today we had lunch at "Grüner Baum" (Kasnocken for all of us) and organised our very own version of "Come Dine with Me". Starting next week we're going to cook dinner for each other every Tuesday. Can't wait! I'm not sure what to make yet... (edit: 1. mojitos 2. eggplant roles, hummus, guacamole, selfmade nan-bread 3. couscous gratin and salad 4. chocolate tarte and pomegranate cream)
  • Binding books. It's great to make your own sketchbooks and stuff.
  • Russian, still, I wish I could say more already. I will have to practise a bit more.
  • New socks (Argyle and polka dots!)
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • A guided tour through the local theatre: we got to ask ALL our questions, it was so interesting! We were backstage only 5 min. before the play started, amazing! Plus we got tickets to the very last performance of My Fair Lady (now I want to see it in English - Cockney, I suppose?!)
  • Hummous; Spinach, potatoes and fried eggs; Milka chocolate filled with little pieces of Oreo cookies; cauliflower (creamy and warm); again: Rose Bakery's lemon cake with poppy seeds (yes, again); huge burgers with roasted eggplant (omg so great); a huge pot of milk rice.
  • James Vincent McMorrow (omg.)
  • Playing Singstar in groups of 4 at Lexi's b-day party for about 6 hours. My throat was SO sore, I can't even tell you.
  • Learning a classic song in two voices.
  • At all, music. I played a lot of instruments again: my cello, flute, organ, piano, melodica... and I was very busy making a bunch of new playlists on iTunes.
  • Luther (BBC)
  • Revolutionary Road OST
  • Drypoint / rotogravure. It's so much fun, but preparing the copper plates is a shitload of work... and printing itself as well. I was a bit angry with the instructor's marking "system" (ha!) though.
  • Meet for cinema, crash into each other, laugh hard, decide not to go to cinema. Have thai food. And a fucklot of fun. I love you, Miss L!
  • A beautiful new bowl, white with brown edges and amazing handdrawn blue pattern.
  • Just maybe, already, Christmas songs?
  • Getting fired. Yes, seriously. Work started to piss my off and I was going to quit anyway. I have a 40hour uni-week, so it was unfair of me to keep on working for this company; I always handed in my projects late etc... SO, getting fired is great because you don't have to deal with all the quitting formalities, you don't have to explain, etc... (BTW I didn't do anything wrong apart from leaving church. Apparently this is unacceptable for working as a fucking GRAPHIC DESIGNER in BAVARIA. Fuck Bavaria, fuck Catholic church. Ok. End of rant.)
