- Handing in my thesis.
- Seeing two storks and a fox out of the train window.
- Spending a whole week with Moni and her husband: little day trips, good food, fun with Sabrine, Ben, Benni, Ileana and Peter (who gave me a ride home in his car and saved me from 6 hours in a train - we even stopped at Friedrichshafen and had coffee right on the edge of Bodensee).
- Shopping for accessories - I got a wine red bag and boots, two scarves and sunglasses.
- Our little trip to France (Strasbourg)! The driving was horrible because it was a German national holiday, so we were not the only ones with this idea, but the city is charming and truly French, even though it's in Alsace and right on the border. We had pretty good coffee, went to the market, I bought an early birthday present for Lexi. In the evening we stood in line for macarons, French bread and cheesecake at (presumably) one of the best bakeries in town.
- Being a group of six at the local pub quiz. We did a really bad job this time but it was great fun! And we drew tattoos on each other's forearms with a ballpoint pen to pass the time between rounds.
- My little cousin Anna's colouring book (there are houses and you get to draw the furniture).
- The Tenacious D concert in Munich. JACK BLACK!! So many sexy thoughts.
- Apple pie by Yanics's mum and Knödel at 3am.
- Good finds at the flea market: an original military parka, leather sneakers, two cableknit pullovers, two books and an LP by Roxy Music.
- A spontaneous trip to IKEA. I got a purple water bottle, a plate, gift wrap, two boxes and new bedding.
- Amorous accomplishments at 5am.
- Virtually running through Neue Pinakothek in Munich, lovely Israeli food in Eclipse bar. Being referred to as Lexi's wife. Finishing Franny and Zooey in the train.
- Knitting socks (first time!).
- Président Sainte Maure chèvre on baguette.
- Baking a gorgeous apple pie, more knitting and watching chick flicks with friends. Trying to ignore timid cuddles next to me.
- My new idea to offer a car pool in order to drive to my university city for free (almost).
- An epic, almost cinematographic dream. About waiting for an exam at art school, being bullied and making out with Jan T.
- Marita-time, music making at KunstWERK, my new ocarina (and my new ukulele), Lichti's birthday (his present: a smooch!) and the prosecco/schnaps/popcorn we got for free, playing yathzee.
- A deep and inspirational talk with Mr. Schleinkofer about drawing, routine, kabbala, signs, everything. My guru.
- The lady at the boutique who let me return clothes even though I had lost the receipt.
- Spending a morning on Marita's bed, eating a clementine. She was still in her cute pyjama.
- Karla's stories at the library night poetry slam.
- Mr. Williams from the mobile phone store. We had a nice talk and afterwards we Facebook-stalked him in order to invite him to our party. We're absolutely crazy and embarrassing (he didn't reply).
- Halloween! We had great lunch ("Kaspressknödel" and salad), a funny shopping tour and then met at my place for preparations. I dressed up as a "Dias de los Muertos" character (awesomely big hair with huge spraypainted flowers and a wig). We had a LOT of vodka and a lot of fun painting our faces. I met two of Maritas friends and then we went to Ronja's party. So many people, I got a lot of compliments for my costume and got mistaken for a celebrity (Beth Ditto... was that a flowery insult?!), a cute dog, favourite locations (balcony, bathroom and Ronja's bedroom). And more vodka. My first lesbian kiss. Fun in elevators. I was never so comfortably drunk before (usually I just get grumpy and sleepy). In the morning we watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show in bed and had warm Swedish cinnamon buns (and chips).
