- Just Want You to Know - Backstreet Boys
- aw, the backstreet boys :) i remember how famous they were when i was a little kid! i never truly appreciated their music until a couple of months ago, and now. they seem unbelievably sweet, and their songs are so much fun to sing along to, especially this one! :D
- A Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton
- I LOVE THIS SONG :D i used to know how to play it on the piano, but now i forgot ): when i was in the fifth grade, this is what we would sing over and over again. THE BEST. i love the intro, obviously, and this is the kind of song you'd like to have stuck in yoru head or playing in the background when going for a walk on a nice day (: vanessa carlton is amazing <3
- Gravity - Sara Bareilles
- woopeee, another piano song (: this is such an angelyn list! i like how calm this song is. her voice is very soothing yet complex, you know? it's just all so wonderful. "set me free, leave me be, i don't want to fall another moment into your gravity." :D how lovely!
- Winter Song - Sara Bareilles + Ingrid Michaelson
- i looooooooooove it! the music video is adorable. the blending of the two voices is really good, along with the strings arrangement. (oooooooo) THE ENDING, oh my. "is love alive?" and in the music video it turns into spring with hearts everywhere - wonderful song with a great message.
- Change - Taylor Swift
- awesome guitar intro. i love the message, and how the lyrics are so simple but explain so much. and the chorus is just so so so catchy. it's one of those tap your feet, bob your head songs, you know? :D plus, TAYLOR SWIFT. hel-lo, since when do her songs suck?
- The Fear - Lily Allen
- the music video is just spectacular (: i would love to live in a house like that, with all the colors and balloons and pretty dresses. lily allen is just wonderful, and seh reminds me of a little kid in this video! :D as for the song itself, you just have to love the lyrics. and her voice, oh my gosh.
- This is Our Town - We the Kings
- oooooh, piano intro! :D and no song list of angelyn`s is complete without we the kings. i like how the title makes the song sound like one with heavy quitars and strong drumbeats, but when you play it, it sounds so calm and different and just as nice (:
- Everything I'm Not - the Veronicas
- yaaaaay, the veronicas! (: you just got to love them, you know? i love their voices, and the melody of this song. it`s one that WILL get stuck in your head, but one you`ll enjoy hearing over & over again, you know?
- If Today Was Your Last Day - Nickelback
- i like how they sing about songs other than love. and that first line was the perfect way to open this son! a piece of advice, how nice. i wish i could live every moment like it`s my last, but the state of my country prevents me to do so ): the guiatr, you have to love it in this song. and his voice, and the way the notes go up and down.
- The Show - Lenka
- i remember this song when it was considered as 'mainstream'. i like how for once, they actually chose a song that WASN`T like everything else and constantly played it on the radio (: sigh. i like the message. it`s such a LIVE NOW song. the world needs more songs like this <3
