Mutuals only, 18+, selective, and private interpretation of CARMILLA from the 1872 novella of the same name by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. I'm obviously not the author and this is only my PERSONAL VIEW AND CHARACTERIZATION of Carmilla.

Rules:

I. LENGTH. Any thread length works for me. Matching length is not a requirement, but I tend to match length.

II. STYLE. I will not read incomprehensible writing. That's what I do for uni, this is for fun.

III. CUTTING POSTS. I cut posts and I would like you to do so as well (this is kinda what everyone on here does but I wanted to mention it).

IV. MEMES. I tend to send in a few memes from a post in case one or some of them don't work for your muse. Don't feel pressured to answer all or any of them, I'm not expecting you to!

V. CROSSOVERS & MULTI-MUSES. I am crossover and multi-muse friendly, including animated muses so never worry that I won't follow back over that.

VI. GOAL. I want to explore character relations predominantly. Carmilla is a complicated character with a lot of contradictions. I enjoy exploring how she would react to other muses and situations. I am fine to write in your preferred universe or use your preferred vampiric lore, just give me a general overview (so I know what I'm doing) and I'm happy to oblige.

VII. SHIPPING. I'm opening to shipping ( ONLY WITH OTHER ADULTS - I AM TWENTY ). However, Carmilla is selfish, possessive, and manipulative. She is DESPERATE FOR LOVE AND COMPANIONSHIP, but will display the previously mentioned behaviors. I do not condone any of it in real life, but I'm not going to apologize as the mun.

VIII. MUSE. Carmilla is also a liar and will not hesitate to give your muse a false name (though she does not like the nickname "Carm"). She is not unnecessarily mean, but do not expect her to react well to hostility. She is sympathetic, but ultimately she kills people and I do not excuse her actions because I like her as a character.

IX. NSFW. I will NOT write r/pe or inc/st. I do NOT consider vampirism inherently sexual / a form of sexual assault. Carmilla falling in love with her victims DOES NOT mean vampirism is sexual in nature. She's just hungry. Any nsfw/mature topics/threads will only be with other adult MUSES & MUNS. Please respect this - it's for both of us.

NOTE: This blog is not related to the Netflix animated series or video game Castlevania or the Canadian webseries Carmilla. The only thing my Carmilla and the Carmilla from the Castlevania animated series have in common is their name and the fact they're both vampires.
