- Couldn't go to a great New Years party because I lied to my mom about there being parents at the party; had to stay home with my mom and her friend.
- Fell madly in love with Kurt Vonnegut through a 10 page paper I had to write on him (which I never finished). Decided I would devote my life to making a shrine for him, then decided that was creepy.
- First Kiss: age 15, with one of my best friends during a game of spin the bottle. Then left and hyperventilated the entire car ride home.
- Trip to Mexico with oldest friend and family. Decided I hated Northern California and never wanted to go back.
- Finally told my crush of a year and a half that I liked him, and started going out with him
- Trip to London with my mom, wanted to go home immediately, although loved it.
- Decided I didn't like my boyfriend and wanted to break up, but I couldn't because we were about to spend a month in Africa together
- Went to graduation, cried.
- Month in Africa, with my boyfriend and best friend (and some other people.)
- Learned to appreciate plumbing
- Learned to appreciate the lack of scorpions

- Got back from Ghana, and got broken up with.
- Went to Yosemite, realized I loved to hike, realized I hated bears.
- Read War and Peace
- Went to San Francisco- saw Regina Spektor, Liars, Cake, and Tom Petty. Fell in love with Cake. Learned all the words to "Stickshifts and Safetybelts".
- Got back into school, realized I wasn't over my ex-boyfriend
- Got back into school, realized I had to be in the IB
- Distanced myself from my old friends, got closer to a new one.
- School, school, school, school
- Was in King Lear, fell for a new boy
- Spent New Years with my best friend and an earless cat
