• the summer hikaru died (its about 2 childhood best friends - hikaru and yoshiki. hikaru is actually dead - but something else takes his place. it's hikaru's body and voice but it's not hikaru.... this is a horror/slice of life/tragedy and its also queer!)
• the fragrant flower blooms with dignity (its about 2 different schools - one public school mostly filled with delinquent boys - and the other school is a prestigious girls private school. one day, a boy and a girl from each school meet and they become friendsl! super wholesome romance/slice of life! the charas are SO adorable)
• natsume yuujinchou (a really wholesome and emotional slice of life anime about a lonely boy who can see spirits!)
• gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun (its about a tee...

• anne of green gables 1985 (sad because netflix made another terrible decision?? well dont worry! because this amazing adaptation also exists!!)

• stray (open world game where you play as a cute orange cat who gets lost and separated from his other kitty friends. this game has a post-apocalyptic/cyberpunk setting! there are no humans - just robots. the story is really good and it's a really pretty game!)
• persona 3 reload (the mc in this game is an orphan who relocates to a beautiful port island. everything's fine at first but he finds out there was a huge tragedy on this island 10 years ago where hundreds of people died. him and his new friends try to uncover the secrets of what happened. there's also a very adorable dog in this game so that should be enough of a reason to start playing!!!)

• our walk home (a drama/romance webtoon! its about 2 boys who are meant to be rivals because their schools are always fighting with each other. but turns out they have a lot in common so they secretly hang out and get close. it reminds me of heartstopper... super fluffy romance but these characters have a lot of personal problems they have to deal with too so it can get pretty heavy sometimes!!)

• the guy she was interested in wasn't a guy at all (this is a cute romance manga between 2 girls - mitsuki and aya. they meet at mitsuki's uncle's cd shop and bond over their love of western rock music. however, aya thinks mitsuki is a boy!!)
