- 「10」 ➜ personal favourite; i don't think i need to reiterate this.
- 「09」 ➜ anime/manga that is considered to be either:
- flawless.
- masterpiece of some kind.
- highly or insanely influential.
- thought provoking.
- 「08」 ➜ incredibly good or very good. highly enjoyable with no super insanely obvious flaws, but isn't a masterpiece material.
- 「07」 ➜ not perfect, but achieves what it sets out to do in an enjoyable, entertaining, and mostly successful way.
- 「06」 ➜ a good score. i would still recommend the show/series to people, but only because of its entertainment factor. there's nothing marvelous about it, but for the most part, the show has achieve its goals and it is worth watching for the right person.
- 「05」 ➜ average. this score could mean a variety of things. it could have very few flaws, but just plain boring. it could be mediocre—not bad not good either.
- 「04」 ➜ bad. a possibility of being entertaining, but for the wrong reasons. it has a lot of flaws that are too obvious to ignore, such as being offensive, foolish, etc.
- 「03」 ➜ very bad. again, it has the possibility of being entertaining, but for the very wrong reasons. it has insanely obvious flaws. it is laughable and possibly offensive.
- 「02」 ➜ horrible/what the actual fuck. it is so bad, but it's good. it maybe just plain awful. it is awful, but it has a redeeming factor (e.g., amazing animation or art) and yet, the show is still terrible.
- 「01」 ➜ appalling/i don't even think you tried. simply horrible. not even worth seeing or reading. definitely not worth your time.
