the series i've been actively working on the longest (10+ years). it's a rat's nest at this point with at least one spinoff (gag me....) but the characters are very near and dear to my heart......
> A primordial being from the far reaches of space is drawn to earth by human loneliness and grants wishes with her power to those in need. She has periods of rest and periods of activity, during which magic comes to bloom throughout the earth. As she is coming into her latest cycle of activity, one young woman grasps her desire to create a sanctuary for herself and her lover. After a tragedy befalls them, the story follows their son and his peers at the school she created, and their various personal traumas.
> loveless with bara tits idk how to really describe this one it's almost entirely character driven. guy and his brother get fuckin' kyuubey'd trying to escape their abusive parents. let's talk about the right to self determination
> zero boys is a soft-ish speculative fiction piece set several thousand years into the future, centering around toulouse, the timid pilot of a Zero-- a massive, open-source war machine capable of traveling through space. sickly as a child due to a mysterious and lethal illness that would eventually kill his sister and mother, he was conscripted into the war in exchange for medical aid. as his planet is located midway between two warring planets, he, along with his fellow Zero pilot, the charming and outgoing raymon, are part of an interception unit responsible for preventing the hijacking of civilian and military vessels by the enigmatic Zero pilots from the opposing side of the war known as Ghosts. rumour has it that Ghosts come back when they die, having given up what made them human in order to serve their cause in the war between factions that has lasted for over a millennia. toulouse meets neon, a Ghost, three times, and then a fourth.
legally, technically a tales "fan game" but doesn't really slot into the series oeuvre, mostly just aping the battle system, skits, and some meta-lore.
> While wandering his war-torn home country, Ishtar sees the face of his husband, whose death he blames on himself, on a passerby. This amnesiac man is helping escort two young women through the area and claims not to know him, but there's no mistaking that face for Ishtar. After the initially violent meeting, he grows closer to the group and helps serve as their guide as they travel the world, each of them searching for answers and eventually uncovering a plot surrounding the missing South Cardinal Ishtar, a goddess-like force whose presence suddenly disappeared. (in canon ishtar is a very common name, the cardinal and the main character are unrelated, this is not a spoiler)
> what if the communism was stored in the slutty boy's fat ass
