- Name: Hannah Mary.
- Nickname: I prefer to go by Ivy than Hannah, but not many people use that. My mum will call me pretty much anything, and my dad calls me Bea, which originally started from a slightly immature joke, but it stuck.
- Age: 19.
- Gender: Girl.
- Sexuality: Basically, closeted bisexual, although I don’t mind that everyone thinks I’m straight.
- Height: Only just over five ft. I’m kind of middle height out of my friends, however, so I must just have a lot of short friends.
- Weight: Around 47kg. It never seems to change.
- Hair: Kind of a goldy-brown colour. It’s debated, though. In summer some people have even described it as dark blonde, but it could easily be described as dark brown during winter or when wet. It’s currently almost halfway down my back, as it hasn’t been cut in almost a year. I had a fringe, but that’s mostly grown out now. I wear it up a lot, since it’s a really good thickness for a high ponytail. I’ve never dyed it or changed it dramatically.
- Eyes: Green. Again, a topic of debate. Has flecks of brown, hazel, grey, and blue, in different light.
- Occupation: Currently, I just have a Saturday job, as a waitress and barista at a creperie. I will soon be moving from the UK to Illinois, and while I’m there I’ll be working full-time as an archery instructor. Then when I come back to the UK, I’ll be a full-time student of English Literature.
- Hobbies: Writing of course. Realistic fiction is my genre, and I especially enjoy character work, and character-led writing. My other main hobby is polo, and all that that comes with. I love team sport, and I love riding. I play polo at national level, and absolutely love spending time at the farm where I train. It’s very social, horses and dogs everywhere. Polo is the best, although painfully expensive if you play a lot. I would also say travel, since I’m pretty well-travelled around western Europe and east-coast North America. I love visiting new places and experiencing different cultures. When I had more time, I also used to figure skate, and received some awards for that.
- Likes: I’m a country girl through and through, and love spending time outside; in the country, or the forest, or at the farm. Listening to music is one of my greatest loves, and I do it pretty well whenever I’m alone. Anything with catchy or meaningful lyrics is great, because I sing a lot, everywhere, often subconsciously. I enjoy studying literature a lot, despite the fact I don’t really enjoy reading for pleasure. I also like animals, coffee (especially Starbucks), Netflix, etymology (and really just names in general to be honest), the changing seasons, mountains, murder mysteries, learning, soppy romantic things, anything Hygge, working with kids (I’ve been volunteering with girl scouts for years and I find it so fun and rewarding), daydreaming, bubble tea, fountain pens, Snapchat, Pusheen.
- Favourite TV Shows: My top three of all time have been Gossip Girl, Grimm and Friends.
- Favourite Music: I LOVE The Chainsmokers. The song Honest is my favourite in the whole world, and I’ve also seen them live and they were amazing. Recently, Camila Cabello has become a close second, and I would say Anne-Marie third. Basically, I tend to like top-40 pop type artists, and mostly listen to music released in the last few years, with very few exceptions. Other artists I love that I haven’t mentioned yet include Rachel Platten, Wretch 32, Artist Vs Poet, Ed Sheeran, gnash, Zara Larsson, Halsey, Linkin Park, Alessia Cara, Kat Dahlia, Olivia O’Brien, Julia Michaels, R. City, Sabrina Carpenter, The Summer Set, Eminem, Rihanna, Kesha, Maggie Lindemann, Taylor Swift, Kanye. Probably enough said...
- Favourite Animal: I feel obliged to say horses, but I really love both cats and dogs as well. I have three cats of my own.
