- no u2, not even "the sweetest thing", which is a surprisingly good driving song.
- no red hot chili peppers.
- no reggae.
- no annoying djs on live 105 who yell into the microphone, thinking that will increase their chances of being heard. no one likes you, madden.
- no stopping mid-station scan. you've got to go through them all to figure out which is the best choice, even if it eats up half of the song.
- stay until the end of the song, turning off the car JUST before the dj gets back on.
- if you know the damn song, sing along. really loud.
- only request "dancing in the moonlight" by king harvest.
