This sinner is a handful. His vices vastly outnumber his qualities but in the right hands, he can be turned into a great asset. You will sometimes need to play into his baser instincts to get him to cooperate, but be careful not to spoil him and don’t forget to be strict with him. Don’t pity him too much for his illness, he won’t hesitate to use it as leverage against you.
Jean le Maigre is mean spirited and arrogant, with a clear superiority complex, despite finding pride in being the basest possible. He’s thieving, conniving and a budding addict. His illness and the early passing of so many of his family members made him entirely unafraid of death, a tendency only intensified by his now almost immortality. Outside of those many vices, Jean le Maigre seems to have real intellectual and artistic potential and he likes to write poetry and prose in his free time. He is also fiercely defensive of the rare people he tolerates (and who tolerate him).
He considers anyone more fortunate than him in any way as unworthy of his empathy.
Jean le Maigre was born in the backstreets of MTN, in a remote village ruled over by an anti technology cult. He grew up surrounded by an ever changing mass of siblings due to a high infant mortality rate.Born tuberculous and with a funnel chest in an almost pre-industrialization environment, it’s a miracle Jean lived this long.
