i have realized how impractical it is to try to list and rank all of my favorite music here. so instead, i have decided to link you to a topster of 64 of my favorite albums, in alphabetical order by artist (artists with multiple entries are ordered by date of release).

note: the artists listed may not match how i ordered some of the albums, particularly any stage musicals. for those i went by whoever wrote the musical.
