- 17th tuesday: arrival to Cape Town, drove to Swellendam, ate at the Swellendam restaurant.
- 18th wednesday: drove to George, stopped at a mall for woolworths. Saw baboons by the road. Arrived to Brenton, checked in and played with Douglas. Walked around the water, ended the day eating at Butterfly Blu.
- 19th thursday: Drove past Plettenberg Bay to see the big cats, Eden of Monkeys, Eden of birds.
- 20th friday: Slow morning, made our way to the beach in Brenton. Had a watermelon cocktail at Blu, got laughed at for asking if egg might be in there. Went to the harbour front shops to look around. Briefly visited a local market, all the tables in shade were reserved so ended up eating and quickly leaving. the Bell Inn for a drink or two or more.. The frogs started screeching!
- 21st saturday: Knysna Elephant Park, disappointing. The heads rock formation, looked for food but none. Visited PnP, grandad got out of the car and walked out of road rage. Hugs and kisses with Dougal!
- 22nd sunday: super chill, walked down to the water and around. Got an ice lolly. Long evening at The Bell for food and drinks.
- 23rd monday: Long ass drive to Cape Town. Eating avocado sushi at Mariners Wharf.
- 24th tuesday: Walked the Platteklip Gorge up Table Mountain. Had a coffee and enjoyed the view of clouds..
- 25th wednesday: Christmas day, exchanged gifts with Mum in the morning. Seven course meal at Quentins. Got home and watched Paddington 2!
- 26th thursday: Slow morning, drove down to Hout Bay Beach to look at the boats and surrounding mountains. Shopped at Checkers. Evening meal and drinks at Anna-Marie's and Anthony's house, with their sons and Agata.
- 27th friday: Chapman's Peak drive on to Cape Point, saw baboons, ostrich, tortoise, and a snake. On to Simons Town to see where Nan grew up, Boulders Beach, and some food. Kalk Bay shopping and then home, Massimo's for dinner.
- 28th saturday: Paragliding from Signal Hill. Breakfast at V&A waterfront market. Sprained my ankle walking down Bree Street. 3 hours at A&E - not broken! Home for rest.
- 29th sunday: Lunch at Lekker Vegan, finally. Small walks at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. A final meal at Massimo's!
- 30th monday: Flew home via Johannesburg...
