• Traveled a whole lot visiting: los angeles, san diego, salt lake city, miami, and connecticut
  • A much better year for my anxiety, though there were a few bumps here or there but overall, not bad.
  • Was able to successfully push away negative thoughts / anxious thoughts when they were directed at people. Still focusing on pushing the negative thoughts away when they focus on my body.
  • Struggled with a parasite in the early summer, which was unexpected but most likely the route of all of my stomach problems.
  • Began re-reading the harry potter novels and on this read, actually understanding why these books are so hyped.
  • The year of reading - read many, many more books this year than I have in years. So proud!
  • Turned 26 and weaned off of my mother’s insurance, terrifying times - health insurance in the US is a mess. Thank goodness for insurance at my job.
  • Visited the glass house in connecticut, which was beautiful, and my first road trip with Seiji.
  • Took care of 3 dogs (sweetie, yoobi, jojo), I rly want one now T.T
  • Had lots of driving lessons and I’m finally at the stage where I think I can go for my license (just need to practice a tiny bit more).
  • We now have a cheeto for president, excellent… the next 4 years, if we survive them, are going to be terrible (maybe?).
  • Actually kept a year long monthly summary of each of my months, proud since I’ve been trying to do something like that since I got my listography in like… 2009?
  • This was not a very good year at my job, lots of people were let go, lots of changes, but now I think the dust has settled and things are looking good? I have a great new manager who’s amazing!
  • On the plus side, llama party made work the best this year, finally feel like I belong at work since I haven’t since I started. The llama party all started with me, joy, and mini and now has grown to include a few other weirdos.
  • And included in the llama party is the great Eliza, a friend from high school, started working at my job which was an amazing surprise!
  • Actively worked to find a new job, which was a good thing for me since * I usually just sit and do nothing. I was actually actively trying to make changes within my life.
  • Almost had an interview at Conde Nast but was cancelled due to a change in their plans… if only, I would have stalked Anna Wintour because she’s Anna Wintour.
  • An unfortunate death in the family this year, Uncle Sam, aged 90 (almost 91).
  • Began doing a lot of yoga and pilates, I want to start doing this at least 2x a week if possible.
  • Took 2 classes with SVA’s Masters IXD program - Interaction Design & Data Visualization. They were okay - SVA is a hit or a miss most times.
  • Had probably the best sushi twice this year, once at sushi of gari and another time at sugarfish in LA
  • I learned that I’m a very well natured person in relationships, which is definitely a strength since I know many people who can be quite explosive.
  • Spent Thanksgiving at the Anderson’s, which was very nice and my first holiday spent not with my family.
  • Went to my first friendsgiving / christmas party thanks to the llama party
  • Ate a lot of really good food at some really good restaurants that I’ve just discovered (via vai, pig & khao, etc.)
  • Spent wayyy too much money at MP Taverna after many a nights with Gaby chatting about life with a good ol’ bottle of Malbec.
  • Oh and fell in love with a pretty awesome bb. :}
