  • Verdict: Three-part gold. Oh my gosh, it's a bit far-fetched to have them so close that they both develop physical marks from injury in the same place, but the development of their characters and how they grow close is just wonderful.

  • Summary: Chanyeol twists himself into knots trying to impress Kyungsoo the entire semester.
  • Verdict: Super cute. I love how Kyungsoo takes pleasure in watching Chanyeol fail to court him at every opportunity, and Baekhyun as the meddling troublemaker is always fun.

  • Rating: PG13
  • Summary: (Chinguline but Chansoo) Kyungsoo's friends are all in marching band and as a music major, he pooh-pooh's on the concept until he tries out, barely makes it in, and has to face the reality that is drunken college partying.  Chanyeol's always there to help him out, though.
  • Verdict: Oh my gosh, so hilarious and cute.  Baekchen as ridiculous partiers made me smile so much and Chanyeol being there to pretty much drink half of all of Kyungsoo's drinks to help him keep up is too sweet.
• Keep My Bed Warm - preempt - canon
  • Rating: PG13
  • Summary: On their last day in Beijing, all Kyungsoo wants to do is drag Chanyeol around for sightseeing, but neither of them can get out of bed.
  • Verdict: So cute. I like how Chanyeol suggests that they could have sex but he never pushes it and lets Kyungsoo do the deciding for the both of them. It's not that he's submissive, but that he's respectful.

• Summary: Looper!AU in which Kyungsoo and Chanyeol work for HQ like normal until they find out that their quantum physics friend Jongdae and his research are stolen by the mafia to create the time travel device.  Kyungsoo leaves Chanyeol in 2015 and makes it his mission to get back to convince Jongdae to abandon his time travel work and to make amends with Chanyeol for leaving him so abruptly.
• Verdict: OMG AMAZING.  The writing, just, holy moly.  This line, just, oh my gosh: "You fucker," Chanyeol says, pressing Kyungsoo so hard against himself Kyungsoo's heart might be beating Chanyeol's pulse. "Fuck you."
• Share the Red Horizon - michaelwesten - AU
  • Rating: NC17
  • Summary: Chanyeol is a real-life superhero who works at a cafe during the day and has Kyungsoo help him fight crime at night. Kyungsoo is also the talented artist who creates "Golden Boy," the comic.
  • Verdict: Oh my gosh, I never knew I needed a super hero AU until now. So good. They both top, too, which is rare and totally believable.

  • Summary: After EXO the spy group disbands, a bleeding Kyungsoo shows up on the steps of Chanyeol's suburban cover house after a mission gone awry. Enlisting the help of past members, they decide to go rogue.
  • Verdict: OH MY GOSH THIS NEEDS TO BE LONGER. This needs to be like fifteen parts. Not only are they spies, they also have their EXO planet powers, too. I like how this only briefly touches on a romantic past between Chanyeol and Kyungsoo, but is quickly overshadowed by their mutual sense of guilt and sadness about their past. The kiss they share at the end gives readers hope that going rogue will also enable them to let go of what was weighing them down all those years ago.
• Take What You Take - sassively - AU
  • Rating: NC17
  • Summary: Chanyeol the bartender has been celibate for 8 months and when Kyungsoo walks into his bar, he loses all sense of coordination until Jongdae forces him to proposition the patron and see what happens.
  • Verdict: OH MY GOSH. Haha. I love a bottom!Chanyeol and it comes unexpectedly, but he is so on board at this stage in his sex life.

• Summary: Chanyeol gets back from filming Laws of the Jungle and all he wants to do is sleep. Kyungsoo missed him but plays a bit hard to get and settles for some spooning.
• Verdict: LOVE. One of my favourite parts is about Chanyeol really wanting to fuck, but even he knows his body's limitations and so he refrains. That, and offering to take care of Kyungsoo's hard-on but Kyungsoo telling him that he's fine. I like how considerate they are of each other.
