  • Successfully bake bread
  • Find a morel cache in the area
  • Master the vegetable garden
  • Finish crocheted blanket
  • Host a dinner party
  • Figure out the loom
  • Go geocaching
  • Take the pile of stuff to goodwill
  • Finish knitting cardigan
  • Call grandma once a month
  • Get good at making crepes
  • Visit the local art museum (MMOCA) more frequently. Hit up an opening already
  • Do a 1 week carbon cleanse
  • Contribute $100 to kiva (4 microloans)
  • Join a knitting group (or start incorporating knitting in book club if I can put down the wine glass)
  • Go to Taliesen. I live right by it! Why haven't I gone there yet?
  • Learn how to do a REAL push-up. I'm 30and can't do them. I've never been able to do them. It's a little embarrassing.
  • Hone my Middle School teaching skills. Some days I still feel like a fish out of water.

  • Learn to play a string instrument. Violin or harp
  • See new wing of Chicago Art Institute
  • Visit Milwaukee Art Museum

  • Become a more organized art teacher

  • Have a reasonable knowledge of history. To get a good overview of how thought has evolved and how different inventions have affected humanity,read “The Discoverers” by Daniel J. Boorstin, as well as “A History of Knowledge” by Charles Van Doren.
