It is often said that it is better to travel than to arrive. This is an chance to recall those journeys that made an impression, maybe because they were adventurous or maybe because of the people you travelled with or maybe the things you saw on the way.
- I have to start with the 6th months of wandering through Australia. I learned so much about the world, about people, about life, about myself
- Chicago, National Art Education Association Conference with Erica. I learned, I got lost on lower Wacker, I bonded with a great friend
- Road trips as a kid on the East Coast. We went to the ocean, to New York, to Boston, to somewhere every single weekend I lived in Connecticut (all 75 or so.) I got my sense of adventure from this.
- Belgium, Amsterdam, Paris with my mother. We got along far better than either of us expected, and discovered we actually do make good travel companions
- Women's festival in Upper Michigan with Jackie. I learned a lot about how our culture works, and how strong and intelligent and downright cool women are
