- Ronan 6- Ronan: Mommy!!!!?? You have to call the furnace repair man to get my blueberry back from the air vent!!! (He's been crying about dropping it down the vent for an hour by now) Me: Sweetie, trust me, you don't want that one. There are other ones, they're sitting in your bowl at the table. Not happening, you need to calm down and take a deep breath buddy. Ronan: Well!!?..Well!! *let's out gigantic fart and fans it at Amanda and I - we're both trying desperately hard not to laugh because Ronan is reaching meltdown level* Me: Buddy..What are you doing? Ronan: I'm mad!!! I'm making the room smell bad for you!!! He goes storming off into the next room and Amanda and I lose it and are laughing hysterically- at least he wasn't pinching, denting walls or throwing furniture, thank you IBI therapy. :)
- Ronan 6- Ronan: Wow!!! Look at that old car what IS that? Me: It's a 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier, my friend actually drove that car in high school. Ronan: What's high school?? Is that a place where people all go to say "Hi" to each other? I'll go do that sometime.
- Myles 5- Mom??? Me: Yes Myles? Myles: Why are animals so cute??!
- Brynn 3- playing hide and seek with me on Friday "ok Mommy, I'm going to hide and you're going to count like this: 1...2.....3.....10!!! Runs and hides behind curtains. I tell her I'm going to find her and she counts 1...2....3....10 ready or not here I come and comes flying out laughing and tells me I have to scream and tickle her because I 'found' her. Rules according to 3 year olds.
- Myles 5- Myles: Mom? Is Stonepointe Avenue the world?
- Myles 5- Myles: What's your name? (big mischievous grin) Me: It's Amy, my name is Amy. Myles: Nooooooooooo...Your name is Drama! (funny because I'm a non drama person) Me: Alright then...How about you? What's your name? Myles: My name is Mom!
- Myles 5- Me: "Hey buddy, what are you drawing? That's a nice letter 'E'!" "This is my letter for Santa!"
- Myles 5- When we came up the stairs there was a piece of Canadian Tire money taped to the wall when we asked him what it was he explained "It costs A LOT of money to fix holes in walls!"
- Brynn, 2 1/2- "Mummy, let's watch Mr. Scrogers!!!"
- Myles, 5- " I want to watch the movie in the 'blueberry' player!"
- Brynn, 2 1/2- "Mommy please help me with my pack-pack!!!" Proudly wearing her big brother's Lego backpack.
- Myles and Ronan- "We need to get our soupcase to go to Grammie's house!"
- Ronan 5- when he filled up his Cookie Monster puppet with a Barrel of Monkeys and flipped it over "Look!!!!! Cookie Monster pooped a monkey!!!!"
- Brynn- Me showing the kids how to jump on the mini trampoline "Mommy can I jump on the pant-o-leen????"
- Myles 5- When telling him that the cat has a litter box. "Gunther uses a glitterbox!!"
