Why do this? Treating fashion like a research project = less money wasted, more efficient clothes shopping, and almost guaranteed incrase confidence.
- Find your Kibbe Type (good for understanding what cuts, fabrics and silhouettes fit your body type)
- Learn about your style essence (you know how some people look good in more frilly, youthful clothes and someone the exact same age may look like an overgrown child in them? that’s where style essence comes in)
- Learn about Color Analysis (very good for determining what colors go with your particular complexion and it’s very in depth)
- Put together outfits by slowly incorporate your new style knowledge into your wardrobe!
- I’d recommend creating a pinterest board with information about your Kibbe, Style essence and Color Analysis results so you can have something to reference when you go clothes shopping. Gradually begin to try out new pieces that match what best suits you. Don’t sacrifice your comfort, but also don’t be afraid of trying out something that may look weird on the rack. It might look good on YOU!

Trial and error phase
- don’t go out right away and buy a bunch of new clothes yet.
- first you should try to look through what you already have and try out the pieces that you find comfortable to wear, flatter you (not too tight or so loose that you’d be uncomfortable wearing it out), and you like the colors. also hold onto basic and simple pieces like tank tops, jackets, jeans ect.
- I think intuitively you’ll know what sort of style you’ll want to go for based off what you eliminate and what you feel genuinely comfortable in, but don’t let that be the end, since this step is helping you get an idea of how things you already have may look and feel on you.
