How to have a successful life for those who are a little less out there.
Pre-Intro - this book is for the average adult struggling to find their identity as an introverted person in an extroverted world. There are many factors that play into a person identifying themselves as introverted; one may struggle with environmental factors of influential people in their lives who cause them to be introverted, and physical factors, yet this book will touch less on physical and more on the psychological factors exemplified. Introvertism is not a problem, disease, or condition; it's simply a personality trait that can be noticed in a person. Introverted people live as equally fulfilling lives as extroverted people do, but just tend to be more in their heads than out loud. As an introverted person living in this social world, I've found my identity brought forth in the career paths I've chosen, friends I've made, and activities I did with those friends. Through many different experiences I noticed my own personality more as an introvert and blocks in the road that have prevented me from living the introverted life I desired. That said, I'm sure there are many like me in the world who have stories in identifying themselves as the introvert and can shed light (as I am currently) on the stereotypes introverts encounter, and show how they found peace in accepting themselves as introverted. I accept that I've grown to be an introvert through my upbringing; my choice in leisure activities, career paths, friends, city I live, and more all were influenced by my introvertism and I write this to bring peace to the introverts who don't believe being introverted is hindering to their lives and for those who want to live successful and meaningful introverted lives without scrutiny.
