LIke, you are picking someone based on YOUR own interests to spend the rest of YOUR life with. and when you think about YOUR life in comparison to many others in existence, in LIFE, you wonder what a 'relationship' is meant for. we are insignificant in the course of ALL life (count the primordial ooze and the dinosaurs), yet through religion, philosophy, and many, MANY, distractions we convince ourselves we have meaning and thereby create relationships with other human beings. So... one mate may attract another by having the common knowledge of knowing darth vader by his first name and his new name, or loving Moulin Rouge, or being a stoner. Yes, these insignificant activities can be SIGNIFICANT in the creation of a relationship.
