hakuouki - based around the shinsengumi (a clan of samurai warriors), characters apart from one or two are based off real members of the shinsengumi, so do your research before you get attached to anyone that might die

amnesia - based off a game with different paths, doesn't do it appallingly, visually appealing, pretty damn great
