boring topic, but...
grade nine 4.125 gpa
- health
- integrated science
- didn't take honors, regretted it
- pre-ap english 9
- loved it, except for cold sassy tree and great expectations
- geometry
- loved this class; looking back, it was probably boy-related more than theorem-related
- spanish III
- laaame; the teacher was una nutcasea
- honors american history
- we colored maps and watched movies
- computer applications
- i could already type, so i learned to play hearts - i still suck at it
- phys ed
- included here because i did actually go once almost every week this semester
grade ten 4.00 gpa
- public and human services
- pre-ap english 10
- the teacher taught us how to blog, read us the chocolate war, and did the julius caesar rap the day before the final. win.
- chorus
- algebra II
- not to be conceited, but... the teacher asked me for help because he didn't know how to work some of the problems. i knew this stuff in eighth grade.
- trigonometry
- we watched numbers and then daniel and i got chosen by virtue of how much we annoyed the teacher to spend six weeks doing an out-of-class project in the lab. to make a long story short, i had a wonderful time, but we never did finish that project.
- biology
- daniel and i played chess on my laptop, tormented kendra, and sometimes slept during sci-fi movies and the occasional johnny cash. that teacher needs to retire.
- honors world history
- great class the first half, then our teacher was forced to become a guidance counselor and we got a substitute who spent nine weeks on the french revolution
- spanish IV
- hardly went because the trig teacher wrote me a note to spend class working on that project instead (yeah, that's right, three hours a day and we didn't finish)
grade eleven 3.50 gpa
- probability and statistics
- this is where i had 75% of my seizures and also the class from which we had strangely excessive amounts of fire drills (about once a week - daniel and ryan did not like). luckily i only once had a seizure during a fire drill.
- algebra III
- i could do this stuff in eighth grade, too
- pre-ap chemistry
- i had enough seizures in here that i wasn't allowed to do any labs, laaame
- ap american history
- this teacher quit halfway through the semester, too - but the replacement was better
- book review
- i read books, wrote reviews, and talked to my fellow library nerds :)
- ap english
- read moar books + shakespeare, pretty awesome
- ap chemistry
- was allowed to do labs again, but already screwed on the class, pulled a c with a lot of tutoring, didn't help that i had two major emotional breakdowns and had to miss class
- honors pre-calculus
- this is where my math skills died, my notebook is full of suicidal poetry and angry scribbling and a few math problems
- book review
- i spent most of this class ranting to the librarian, the guidance counselors, and ambulance peoples - the librarian's husband gave me iss for skipping a play to actually stay in the library and do work, i am still annoyed about this
grade twelve 3.67 gpa
- teacher cadets / careers in education
- loved this class sooo much, even though i slept through it about once a week
- college english 101
- how to bs effectively 101
- college psych 101
- how to take multiple choice quizzes without studying 101
- college calculus 155
- shit i can actually fail something 155
- civics
- wow i can skip 30 out of 90 minutes of this class every day and still get an a
- sociology
- met cool people, did well in the class, got very well acquainted with the bathroom
- book review
- librarian's husband watched me, like, a lot, so i just silently read books, wrote reviews, and texted jake when the grumpy man wasn't in the room
- latin
- i needed a class to replace calculus 156 in my schedule, this was it - met anthony here
- english 12
- forced into this because i got kicked out of college speech and was thus not allowed to take english 102 either *sigh*, but it wasn't as bad as i expected
