- Soft Rock Star- Metric: The summer of grade 11, this song was on repeat.
- All You Need Is Love- The Beatles: grade 12 spare, someone says the sentence "it's easy", and a completely spontaneous outbreak of this song occurs. It's pretty perfect.
- Hey Jude- The Beatles: October 2008: got stuck in an elevator with 11 other people for an hour and a half. We sang this. This was later reprised in a very empty pub in Quebec City.
- Road Trippin'- Red Hot Chili Peppers: road trip, Feburary 2009.
- Pale Blue Eyes- Velvet Underground: My absolute favourite song at the time, it was played twice in Adventureland when Melissa and I saw it together. I was really excited.
- Lost In The Supermarket- The Clash: This song just reminds me of Ben.
