Fall 2008
- BIO1530 Introduction à la biologie des organismes
- ENG1100 Workshop in Essay Writing: This is how to write a thesis statement.
- PHI1501 Raisonnement et pensée critique: This course is lame. My premises? Venn diagrams are boring, and the prof mumbles incomprehensibly to himself in French.
- GEG1301 The Physical Environment: Climate! Hydrology! Geology! Also, doing a two hour lab watching water soak into soil.
- MAT1371 Descriptive Statistics
Winter 2009
- PHI1102 Moral Reasoning: Prof is so boring he's fascinating. Also, we reasoned while eating cheese croissants.
- ENV1101 Global Environmental Challenges: GODLY. Both the course and prof.
- GEG1302 Society and Environment: basically the same as ENV1101, except not godly.
- PSY1101 Introduction to Experimental Psychology
- PSY1102 Introduction to Applied Psychology: Both intro psychs were fascinating. 1101 was more about how the mechanics of the brain, and 1102 was emotions and disorders and relationships.
Fall 2009
- PHI2398 Environmental Ethics
- BIO2129 Ecology: This is where I waded around in a stream almost up to my waist and played bug catcher. And then wrote a 10 page lab report on it.
- PSY2110 Social Psychology: The second GODLY course.
- GEG2320 Introduction to Geomatics: making maps on computers. I enjoyed it, and was probably the only one who did.
Winter 2010
- ENG1120 Literature and Composition I: Prose Fiction
- ENV2501 La recherche environnementale : approches et méthodes: The only course I've skipped on a consistent basis, basically research methods taught by a prof who thinks that you can confirm a hypothesis.
- GEG2109 Canada and its regions
- GEG2704 Climatologie
- POL1502 Politique et mondialisation: *shudder* This is where I realized that I basically don't know anything about how the political world works.
