HERE ARE SOME OF THE FUNNEST FACTS ABOUT EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE HOT BLOODED SAMURAI LAW STUDENT!

• FACT #1 - HIS NAME IS FULL OF MANY INTERESTING PUNS! His family name, Asougi (亜双義), is said by Shu Takumi to be inspired by the Japanese term 阿僧祇 (asougi), which means 10^56, or an infinitly large number. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! 葬儀 (sōgi) means funeral, which is surely a reference to his "death" in DGS1-2! It could ALSO be a reference to the fact that all of his immediate biological family is dead :c poor Kazuma...IN ADDITION! The kanji for 双義 (sōgi) in his name can be directly translated as "dual justice". This is surely a reference to how he switches from defence attorney to prosecutor over the course of the story, and could also be a reference to how he wields not one, but TWO swords as a prosecutor! Wow, what an meaningful surname! However, there's not much meaning in his given name. It's just a plainly good name, isn't it?
• FACT #2 - Kazuma's ultimate weakness is tongue twisters. He hates to lose, and losing to your own words must be unbearable to him. Hilariously, one of Ryuunosuke's hobbies IS learning tongue twisters, so he's tried to help him overcome this threatening weakness (to no avail). His perpetual flowing-in-the-wind headband sure does make him look cool, doesn't it? Well, the truth is that Kazuma wears this headband to remind him of his failure to overcome tongue twisters. Not so cool anymore, is it? But that's just the beginning. He thought that Ryuu had taught him a tongue twister about different coloured headbands, but his memory was incorrect. The twister was ACTUALLY about wrapping paper! EVEN HIS WAY TO ATONE FOR HIS WEAKNESS WAS ABOUT A MISUNDERSTANDING! Of course, he's so hot-blooded that you can't help but think "you go, Kazuma!" Even if he's being a bit of a dork...
• FACT #3 - Kazuma absolutely hates chicken! To him, there is no food more disgusting. He is, however, perfectly fine with beef. We know this because he and Ryuu have a habit of eating at a local Beef Stew restaurant together. Could you call these "dates"?
• FACT #4 - Kazuma has FOUR theme songs! 1) Kazuma Asōgi ~ A Samurai with a Mission 2) Kazuma Asōgi ~ Nocturne 3) The Great Return and 4) The Revived Prosecutor. And all of them contain that beautifully written melody!
• FACT #5 - Kazuma's sword, Karma, is a family heirloom and the emblem of the Asougi clan! In fact, one of his father's disciples adopted the name "Karma" as his surname. This must mean that the Asougi disciple is the ancestor of Manfred von Karma!
• FACT #6 - Kazuma has a habit of cutting people off before they're finished speaking. It's usually to provice encouragement, help, or voice frustrations. It can get annoying, but we love him.
• FACT #7 - Asougi once wrote a speech for a competition. This is where he met Ryuunosuke, who became his best friend. While Ryuu's speech was about remembering to be thankful for your parents, Kazuma's speech was about, "young people of the working class rising up to change society." Is Kazuma an avid reader of the "Iskra" magazine? Does Kazuma know Russian after all???? "DOWN WITH THE BOURGEOISIE!" - Asougi Kazuma, probably.
• FACT #8 - Kazuma believes that separating society into groups such as "young" and "old", or "men" and "women" is wrong. What a progressive thinker!
• FACT #9 - Asougi worked loading cargo on steamships before arriving in London, where he was found by Vortex at the embassy(?) There's official artwork of him working as a cargo boy, with tons of boxes and items balanced on his head perfectly! IMPRESSIVE!
• FACT #10 - Questioning his ability as a samurai is s surefire way to get Kazuma's back up. He'll insist to prove his ability with the sword. You think he can't slice things from 7 ft away? "BRING ME THE MELON AT ONCE!" - Asougi Kazuma, probably.
• FACT #11 - Kazuma hates authority figures!
• FACT #12 - After the events of DGS2, Kazuma remains in Britain in order to become a full-fledged prosecutor. Now that their bitter hatred towards each other has been resolved, he decides to live with Barok van Zieks as his roommate. Spinoff idea?
