HISTORY ;

mingyu was born and raised in anyang-si, a city fairly close to seoulchee. he had a normal childhood, growing up with supportive and involved parents. in elementary and middle school he played sports, hung out with friends, and was well-liked by everyone he met.

his grades were never the best, so when he graduated from high school, he planned on working at a local coffee shop until he could move out on his own. as time passed, he realized he didn't want to be stuck in anyang-si his entire life. while complaining to his childhood friend, vivi, she offered to help him get a job at the skating rink where she worked in seoulchee. his parents allowed him to move, but only if he also attended classes at the university there.

FUN FACTS ;

mingyu loves animals, especially dogs. his apartment is usually kept tidy and his meals are made in his tiny kitchen. he's a pretty good cook.

since he's new to town still, he gets lost very easily. coming from a city, it should be easier for him, but it isn't. he likes seoulchee, he just has yet to learn the street names and how to get to the nearest grocery store.

his favorite place in seoulchee is the park because it's quiet, and he can discreetly and enviously watch people play with their dogs.

mingyu's love of cooking comes from a childhood experience where vivi's mom had gotten him an easy bake oven for his birthday.
