  • When You Finish Saving The World (2023) - Apr 2024 ⭑⭑⭑☆☆
    • oh god these characters are unbearable. but i see how ideals and reality don't match up and i like the irony it presents. the fact that it's a mother/son issue makes it hit all the more harder. solid debut from eisenberg!!! excited to see more from him
  • 서울의 봄 - 12.12: The Day (2023) - Apr 2024 ⭑⭑⭑⭑☆
    • painful event in korean history, delayed the country's democracy by several years and resulted in the death of thousands of koreans, the majority being student protestors. that has nothing to do with the movie, which had phenomenal casting. i think it could easily have been a mess to follow, especially for those unfamiliar with the historical figures, but it was riveting to watch. a great action-thriller.
