every year i try to see every movie that looks remotely interesting to me. i often get lazy about this and will play catch up with DVDs through january the following year.

i make sure to make my top ten before oscars, so i have a deadline. my top ten is best described by order of affection. not best, or most beautiful. these were the movies that meant the most to me and reflected the year i lived. so in that sense they are kind of like diary entries.

top ten lists for 2007 and earlier are approximations as the original records were lost when the computer at my old job died.

the first movie was my #1, and everything after that is an estimate of the order they appeared in. if i've remembered any other detail, i've included that as well.
