SF9 is a nine membered boy group under FNC Entertainment. Their name stands for "Sensational Feeling 9". "Sensational feeling" means to shock the world with their talents, and "9" comes from the Chinese character 久 (length) to show their desire to last for a long time.

They debuted on October 5th, 2016 with the song 팡파레 ("Fanfare"). This is a dance track with a beat that is easily remembered. The group is dance based. They were created from FNC's Neoz School.
