• I'm very happy I was able to get in contact with the creator of the previously lost Megaman X7 undub, blade133bo. I had to dig through many forums but I was able to get in touch and retrieve the undub for the EU version. The EU version was best since the NTSC version has voice options but it stupidly halves the damage for all weapons so killing anything is a slog and the gameplay flow is ruined. The JP version has the weapons do proper damage but there are no English subtitles so you can't follow the story. The EU version removed the option to switch voices so you get English subtitles but you're also stuck with English voices, on the plus side you get proper weapon damage
• This patch rectifies that by enabling the EU version to have JP voices in addition to it already containing proper weapon damage and English subtitles. Finally the ideal MMX7 experience...I just installed the patch and sent it over to the admins on CDRomance and now its preserved for the forseeable future :)
• Today as I was searching online I did see a superior undub now available, I'll leave the blade undub up for preservation sake but I suggest that for the optimal X7 playthrough you use the 'Mega Man X7 N's Edition (Hack) PS2 ISO' with the 'Mega Man X7 UNDUB patch (PS2) by swosho'. As of this writing it is the best way to experience this game by far.
