- love is never wasted
- each relationship teaches you something, no matter how it ends
- relationships where one person is more in love than the other will never work out
- relationships based on sex will never last
- relationships without trust and openness will never work out
- just because a relationship is short-lived doesn't mean it's any less "real" than a long term one
- though you may not have one person for the rest of your life, you should stick to one at a time
- there are as many different way to love as there are people in the world
- sometimes loving someone is its own reward
- honesty and respect should be first and foremost in any relationship--romantic or not
- "needy" is in the eye of the beholder--is someone is willing and eager to give you what you need, they'll never see you as needy
- love at first sight does exist--maybe not forever love--but remember number 8 on this list
- just learning this one---you can love someone and not have to express it through sex--there are as many ways of expressing love as there are ways of loving
