  • The Beatles Greatest Hits (2 albums from 1973). At 7 years old I didn't understand that The Beatles were no longer together. I fell in love with them at a young age.
  • Duran Duran - Rio. My first taste of the 80's British Invasion. I played their records constantly, screamed at their concerts, watched their videos endlessly, searched Simon LeBon's lyrics for deeper meanings and even wore a fedora. *sigh*
  • REM - Eponymous. My buddy Pete was a big REM fan in college and they just rocked my world from the minute I heard them.
  • Pearl Jam - Ten. To this day still my favorite band. They were raw and angry and just the coolest thing I had ever heard.
  • Pearl Jam - Riot Act. A decade after discovering them, I fell in love all over again AND I got to see them at House of Blues in Orlando when they toured supporting this album. Absolute magic.
  • Josh Groban - Josh Groban. I first heard "Noel" on the radio while living in FL and his voice gave me chills. I still have never heard a more pure or beautiful voice.
