Former boyband member and acting idol Tsukishima Kei’s continued entanglement with Nekoma's lead singer Kuroo Tetsurou is just a series of missed steps in choreography he can’t quite master. (It doesn't help at all that Kuroo Tetsurou makes a habit of constantly changing the music.)

Kuroo blinked at him a few times, before cautiously taking Tsukishima’s pale, slender hand into his own much larger, much broader and tanner hand. He had scars and callouses that didn’t come from games of capture the flag.

“Kuroo.”

He didn’t say who his parent was.

Summer.

Of fucking course.

The word 'summer' scrawled in a deep maroon sits at the tip of his collarbone, not quite at his shoulder but easily covered by the collar of any t-shirt he owns.

He doesn’t know what he expected—not that he’d expected anything, really. While his first year classmates constantly clamor about their soul mark, what they want it to look like, who they hope they’re bonded with for eternity, I can’t wait until I’m sixteen so I can finally find out, Tsukishima hadn’t given it much thought.

Frankly, he didn’t care if he ended up with one or not.

But of course, of fucking course, this is the soul mark he ended up with.

He doesn’t have to guess the meaning, doesn’t have to wonder when he’ll run into someone with a matching mark.

He’s already met them.

Already met him.

“I’m not kidding. Pairs jumps can be very dangerous. I could end up slitting your throat with my skates, or something.” Tsukishima paused thoughtfully. “Actually, maybe we should try some more advanced stuff…”

“Ha ha, very funny. You do remember that I know how to skate, right?”

Tsukishima smirked, pointedly glancing down at Kuroo’s skates. “You know how to play hockey,” he corrected with devastating superiority.

or, kuroo's a hockey player, tsukishima is a figure skater - can i make it any more obvious?

When Tsukishima got his wish of seeing his favorite podcast creator in real life, he didn't quite expect that he and his friends (a Sharknado fanatic and two idiots who like volleyball and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 too much), would team up with even more friends (an Instagram-famous beauty, The Most Wholesome Person on Earth, and a Level 99 Pokemon Trainer) have to put their remaining brain cells together to save another friend's diner from failing.

There are plenty of reasons people don’t like walking into work early on a Monday morning, but Kei can safely say that thinking you might find a dead body on the floor of your workroom is not one of them. Not only are the police underfoot but management is breathing down his neck, his boss is on maternity leave, the Egyptology collection needs to be inventoried, and his assistant might just die of shock himself.

Oh, and one of the detectives on the case is his ex-boyfriend.

Kei doesn't quite know which is worse: being caught up in a murder mystery in his own damn department, dealing with the idiots around him, or working with the ex he's still in love with. He might have to catch the killer to find out.

His last relationship left him locking his heart away from the world, but here comes this tall sexy man holding a lock cutter. how can Tsukishima protect his vulnerable heart?

Kuroo Tetsurou hates that he is being transferred to lead some criminal investigation analysis team, he'd much rather be out doing his regular investigations but he'd started on a case that involving a well know gang in the area that left him injured after him and his partner got caught snooping in their territory. He is mostly worried about his new co-leader, an arrogant fellow with a knack for being blunt. Kuroo is having a hard time dismissing his attraction for the younger man as they work alongside each other, but they argue so much he still has trouble even acknowledging his feelings.
