an ultimate fave. mafia au. undercover cop taehyung infiltrates the biggest mafia in korea. holy shit this was amazing but so gruesome and just wow.

but read the tags. warning: has a detailed torture scene and a scene with gunplay so just skip if that makes you uncomfy. it's a heavy read that you probably shouldn't attempt to read in one sitting (honestly it's a proper mafia au, so what do you expect?) but it's definitely worth the ride

ultimate fave! stuck-in-a-video game au, like Log Horizon or Sword Art Online. the amount of thought put into building this world is seriously unbelievable..the adventure and politics- namjoon is essentially creating order in a world full of a chaos. bonus points for top player yoongi being whipped for noob jimin trope

ultimate fave. futuristic technology dystopia au, that somehow reminded me of an anime idk. the writing is beautiful - there's certain sentences and moments that left such a big impact i still remember it even though i read this six months ago. (plus jungkook’s WHOLE existence!!!) not much romance tbh but it's perfect that way. tbh i kept putting this off for later and when i finally read it i was mindblown and cursing myself for not reading sooner. im still waiting for the sequel rip

LOVE!! palace au. a diplomatic arranged marriage between two kingdoms to bring an end to their war. this focuses on their building relationship, but the way the author describes the setting....the imagery is vivid and beautiful wow
