my longest-running & primary special interest is criminology and detective work. i have an encyclopedic knowledge of forensic techniques, serial killers, and notable larceny and murder cases. i adore putting it to use. if you ever have questions about that sort of thing, i would love if you could indulge me and send them in! (i will take a moment here to specify that i do not care for true crime. i find the 'fandom' approach to criminology particularly offensive and insensitive. i am dedicated to taking a respectful and victim-centered approach whenever i discuss delicate topics.)
