- I would never choose God myself, he chose me.
- Every fiber of my human nature is evil. How could evil ever choose something pure and holy? This puts my salvation firmly in his hands and takes me out of having anything to do with it.

- The grace of God is irresistible.
- I have seen my life go from an utter mess to wholly changed. He continues to draw me to himself and there's no way I would trade the life I live for what I was. Even if I were to fall away for a time, my life is too intertwined with his for me to stay away.
- The Doctrines of Grace are beautiful.
- It's all about him and not about me.
- It brings humility.
- The fact that a good, holy, and perfect God would choose someone like me to serve him, and to save me from the wrath of Hell compels me to worship and honor him in awe.
