• February 1, 2017: Getting back to a normal schedule. Calming down after an anxiety attack.
  • February 2, 2017: Not waking up with a headache every morning. Remembering to take my thyroid medicine. Morning naps. Old photographs. Answers.
  • February 3, 2017: Hot flavored tea. Finished paperwork. Leftover ham, turkey, green beans, corn, stuffing, brown gravy, rolls, noodles in chicken broth, coffee, and sweet tea.
  • February 4, 2017: A chipped, but beautiful, soup bowl.
  • February 5, 2017: Honey BBQ glazed chicken strips with fries, ranch, buttery toast, and a diet cola. A quiet evening to write in my writer's notebook.

  • February 7, 2017: 66 degree days in early February! Sunshine, clearing skies, and melting snow. Getting to order the adorable figurines I wanted for Valentines Day! Motivation to clean and declutter. Feeling brave enough to finally start my nature journal for 2017.
  • February 8, 2017: 55 degree days in early Februry. Winter Weather Advisories that become Winter Storm Warnings. Being able to get to prayer meeting in good weather and back home in only light rain, all before the snowstorm hit.
  • February 9, 2017: Snow Days. The beauty of snow-laced trees. Coffee.
  • February 10, 2017: 2-hour delays. Spaghetti! Hot showers at bedtime that help me sleep.
  • February 11, 2017: Hot showers in the morning that set the mood for the day.
  • February 12, 2017: An inspiring Valentines Day sermon at church this morning. Yummy food at today's covered dish dinner family gathering -- with plenty to eat, even though we arrived late. Cherished memories of Star, a precious, loving, black-and-white cat, who passed away young. :(
  • February 13, 2017: A few pussy-willow catkins emerging from their buds. Cold, sunny days with only a slight dusting of snow here and there. Our son getting a good night's sleep before a major test. Finally starting my nature journal.
  • February 14, 2017: Walmart deli pizza. Me and Willie not being affected by whatever bug Gary came down with this evening.
  • February 15, 2017: Getting Willie a doctor's note and back to school in the same morning after the nurse found ringworm on him. Gary feeling up to going in town. The cows are up in milk production. 1/2 off Valentine's Day merchandise. Nice drive to church. Safe, if nerve-wracking, drive home in the sudden snowstorm.
  • February 16, 2017: My home, family, friends, faith, pets, and health. No one being hurt in the house fire near the clinic.
  • February 17, 2017: High school scheduling. Honors class applications. Band. Backpack. Hoodies. Not getting the stomach bug that Gary had. Willie staying well, too.
  • February 18, 2017: Afternoon at the farm pond. 65 degrees, sunshine, partly cloudy, breezy, peaceful. My period finally arrived. Chamomile tea.
  • February 19, 2017: Having the year-end church paperwork completed. Having the board of trustees supporting me on the matter with C.H. Burger King chicken nuggets. Oreo cheesecake. Grocery shopping for hot fudge brownie sundae ingredients.
