- 4th: Pumpkin donut -- yummy! Of course, that showed up today.
- 5th: Happy birthday! Stepped in a non-water puddle.
- 6th: Cleaned camper. Trying to resist the urge to order something that wasn't in the budget.
- 7th: Found a salamander in the sheep water bowl this morning! Dishwasher drain overflow.
- 8th: Birthday dinner! Ordered community calendar.
- 9th: Blah. Bored. Headache. Sleepy.
- 10th: I don't understand people.
- 11th: Pond visit! Well, he's not proposing today...
- 12th: I'm so tired. Why can't we have a normal conversation? No motivation.
- 13th: Friday the 13th...in October! Too bad it's not a full moon.
- 14th: Strawberry ice cream?! Did you not hear one single word that I said? Not one of my favorite mugs, too! :(
- 15th: Time to start gulping coffee... Ugh!
- 16th: Autumn leaf photos. Why do I think of everything I wanted from the grocery store after I get home?!
- 17th: More fall pics. New "used" silo top. Sibling dinner. Headache.

- 19th: Paid bills. Why, oh why, didn't you think of your dental cavities when you were making more money working at your old job?!
- 20th: Cleaned camper.
- 21st: Deer!
- 22nd: Water heater, floor hole fixed, decluttering motivation, and musical plush cows! Goodbye, apple cider and pumpkin donut plans.
- 23rd: 5 cows to stockyard (high somatic cell count) :(
- 24th: Herd work. Visit to farm parts store in the valley. Why can't I bring myself to throw out these small cardboard boxes?
- 25th: The one perk of getting up early: beautiful sunrise photos! Here we go again...all because someone's knees hurt?!
- 26th: If the tractor starts rolling away, let it go! It isn't worth your life. Tragic farming accident at a neighbor's farm today, but miracles do happen.
- 27th: Cleaned camper.
- 28th: Trick-or-treat night!
- 29th: Why would you risk infecting the whole family and keep one of your brothers from visiting his aunt and uncle?!
- 30th: Groceries! Thanks for the sudden feeling of panic that's going to linger... Just couldn't have left that unsaid, could you?
- 31st: Happy Halloween! First accumulating snow of the season began falling late tonight.
