• WEB will be going to National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY, on February 12-13, 2020, with the Preston County FFA chapter. The alumni are paying for the trip for any active member that wants to go.
• WEB was chosen by his Auto Tech teacher to go to CTE day in Charleston, WV, on March 19, 2020, to represent the Auto Tech program there. (One of two chosen from the program.)
• WEB's English teacher, Ms. S-----, is encouraging him to take her college English class during his senior year (2020-21) of high school, and he's seriously considering doing so.
• WEB was named "Shop Foreman" in his Auto Tech II class by his Auto Tech teacher, Mr. T-------. The teacher told him that he'd be a good one, but that he needed to yell at people who weren't doing anything, instead of just telling people what to do.
• "If you wear your frog out, you can buy a new one!" -- GSB on tillage equipment.
• I like feta cheese.
• "I've got pig slime all over my hands." -- MGB, referring to bacon grease

• Don't put off doing a scary task. Face it head on and get it done. No matter when you do it, the result will be the same, so why suffer the anxiety of wondering? It may go wrong, but, then again, it may also turn out better than you ever imagined!
• WEB signed up for the following classes for his senior year at PHS: AP English(!), Civics, Financial Algebra, Auto Tech III & IV, Horticulture, and Band. I think his alternates are Collision I and Auto Tech V. He had considered JROTC II, but Horticulture is a block class, so he couldn't fit it in his schedule. I'm fairly sure he's more disappointed that he couldn't take the Diesel class -- as priority is being given to sophomores and juniors who will be able to complete the entire program -- than not being able to take JROTC II.
• Vaping, chewing tobacco, and drinking alcohol are a huge NO! Thankfully! Too bad it had to be learned the hard way.
• I like ANT. I haven't met her, yet, but she seems to be a good influence on WEB.
• WEB attended JROTC Dining Out Night at C.D. with Josh (who was "his" freshman in band last year) on 02.22.2020.
• Ask WEB about the "grog" from the JROTC dinner! lol!
