Note:
June: Though I only saw a distant, poor-quality, cell phone photo of it, 3/4 of the farm men saw a large black bear passing through the fields behind the blue barn.
July: I saw a small, young black bear sitting along the edge of the road on my way to prayer meeting on July 28th.
September: Just discovered that the hickory tussock moth caterpillar spins a fuzzy cocoon with irritating hairs. I think this is the same type of cocoon that gave me a painful, itchy rash after I accidentally brushed my arm against it some years ago.
