3rd: Back to School! BSA
5th: Received Scholastic Book Club order.
10th: 2-hour delay, BSA, Computers for Education fundraiser postcard packet came home. Checked "no" on option to sign up for Florida vacation sweepstakes.

14th: Scholastic Book Club orders due. (Returned order form w/check on 1-10-11.) 2-hour delay.
17th: No School

24th: 2-hour delay, BSA, Report cards

February

March

2nd: Came home from school with fever (on time, not early)
3rd: Sick Day
4th: Sick Day, Clinic @ 2:45 p.m., Strep Throat
7th: BSA meeting cancelled. Willie missed bus.
8th: 30 min. detention for missing announcement and, as a result, missing his bus on 7th.
21st: Water Testing, Kids drank from water bottles
22nd: 2 hour delay, staff development
23rd: Afterschool activities cancelled due to Tornado Watch
25th: 3rd semester report cards (All A's & S's, except one B in Math)
Note: I don't think they've had a BSA meeting all month!
Note: Willie brought home his t-shirt and radio prizes for participating in the magazine fundraiser sometime within the past two weeks. (Note dated: 3/26/11)
31st: 3rd semester awards: All Star Bear & Free Homework Pass (positive behavior awards)

April

1st: 2 hour delay, staff development
4th: Afterschool activities cancelled due to High Wind Advisory
5th: Dentist appt. (out all day)
14th: Spring Portraits taken
18th - 22nd: Spring Break
25th, 26th: Make-up Days (1 Buckwheat Festival, 1 Snow Day)
25th: Final Cub Scout meeting. Birdhouse, Sun dial, t-shirt, reusable shopping bag, scout patch. Forgot backpack in locker. Were able to go get it, because school was open late for gymnastics/dance/exercise program.
27th: 1st Kids Club meeting of Spring
29th: Permission slip for Oglebay field trip due. Scholastic book order arrived. Missing Hop book and mini greenhouse kit. Backordered?

May

June

1st: Kids Club, final meeting, school art work taken off walls
2nd: Spring Concert, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
3rd: 1st thru 3rd grades Field Day
7th: Last Day of School, 2 hour delay, Awards Day at 10:15 a.m., Report Cards
Willie's gift to Mr. P was a black-and-white perler bead cat with blue eyes, a pink nose and ears, and a blue collar, as well as a hand-drawn card with a smiling lemon with legs on the front and "Thank you for a good year. From: Willie To: Mr. P"
Jayne baked 3 blueberry, 3 chocolate chip muffins and put them in a basket for Ellen. McKayla drew cards for herself and Willie to include, since Willie was in school
