  • Whacked by Jules Asner

For light reading. Quite a fun read. Three stars for this one. Because of the awesome protagonist, the lovely setting, and the superb ending! ;)

  • Flip-Flopped by Jill Smolinski

Also for light reading. Setting was set in Hawaii and it's about volcanoes, and a bad marriage. I'd give it two stars. Not the most remarkable book I've ever read but there were some funny parts. So I'd chip in a half star for those funny parts.

  • Guardian of the Horizon by Elizabeth Peters

Highly recommended for those who love thrillers and mysteries. Not for light reading, though. Some of the words could have had given me a nosebleed but I didn't need a dictionary so I guess it's all good. Definitely a nice story. Even sort of magical. First pages were a bore, however. But as soon as I got to the good part, I couldn't put down the book till I got to the finish. And I must admit finishing Guardian of the Horizons gave me such a satisfied feeling. Good book. Four stars.

  • A Thousand Tomorrows by Karen Kingsbury

For light reading. The usual inspiring love story. I thought it would be unlike other love stories but I got disappointed. Some points in the story were repeated unnecessarily. Some parts were too mushy. Three stars for this one, because it was such an easy read. Took me less than 24 hours to finish.

  • The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry

I'm just starting this one! Will update as soon as I finish.
