FOR ECON 115 (Philippine Economic History):

  • Read Chapter 7 in advance. I mean it. And try not to look so lost in class.
  • You also need to pass a reaction note about that video on YouTube. Please finish this before Saturday night so you'd find out ways to print the whole thing because the printer has no more black ink.
  • Print the reaction note.
  • Start planning about video presentation.
  • Finish notes for 2nd long exam.
  • Second long exam on Monday, January 30.

FOR ENVI SCI 10:

  • Plan a meeting for tomorrow (January 7) with groupmates and finish the powerpoint presentation.
  • Finalize the outline by Saturday night.
  • Finalize the powerpoint presentation by Tuesday night.
  • There is a meeting on Monday at 4 pm with your professor (see her during your 10 am class for details) and bring the final outline and show her your final presentation.
  • Meeting moved tomorrow, January 12.
  • Start looking for a business attire you can wear during the reporting.
  • Last group meeting to finalize everything on January15, Sunday. Text group mates about details.
  • Pass waiver.

FOR HUMANITIES 1:

  • Ask a classmate about the happenings in class during the past two days when YOU were absent.
  • Watch Dead Poet's Society, or research about it.
  • Visit UP Art Gallery.
  • Choose an artwork and write a poem about it (3-5 stanzas).
  • Prepare a creative presentation on your poem to be presented on January 26, Thursday.
  • Watch any movie from the Sineng Pambansa Festival (January 19, 20, 21). Recommended movie is the Czech movie.
  • Write a reaction paper for the movie watched.

FOR PE 3 (Social Recreation):

  • Go bowling/ billiards.
  • Pass a waiver.
  • No class on Thursday and on Monday, next week. Have fun.
  • Reaction on the bowling/ billiards activity.

FOR MATH 152 (Lab):

  • Think of a topic for your project.

FOR MATH 152 (Lec):

  • Ask Juna to send you a copy of the powerpoint presentations in class.
  • Curse the heavens for having only 78% during the first long exam.
  • Research on computer booting (soft boot, hard boot, reboot) and prepare for a short quiz on January 17, Tuesday.

FOR ECON 151 (Public Economics):

  • You need to pass something on Tuesday, January 10. Find 2 articles you want to write a review on, include abstract, author, and journal title. -- Moved to January 13.
  • Photocopy the book of Stiglitz (only the required chapters).
  • Research the web for complete titles of the articles you passed. Keywords saved on phone.
  • Photocopy the articles you passed.
  • First long exam will be on Friday, January 27. Don't cram.

FOR ECON 106 (Mathematical Economics):

  • Your first long exam will be on Friday, January 20. Study by Wednesday. Seriously.

FOR OTHER MATTERS:

  • Ask your father to ask someone to buy ink for the printer.
  • Ask a roommate or you can do this yourself: buy an extra extension cord for the dorm room.
  • Change your dorm bed's sheets and pillow covers as well as your towel and bathrobe because it has been there for 2 months already and if you keep using them that's going to be really disgusting.
  • Bring some soap.
  • Stop with the habit of getting only 4 hours of sleep.
