- Kay grew up in a Singaporean boarding school with some British teachers. He has an RP (Received Pronunciation) accent. His voice and manner of speaking is based on Richard Ayoade.
- Part of Kay's gift with languages is his ability to mimic sounds. He can adopt an accent rather quickly when he listens to a voice enough times. It also takes him a while to shake off an accent if he's been using it for a few days.
