- miss vickie: kindergarten. she had a puppet named sparky (i think) who used to tell us that it was nap time. or that it was lunchtime. or that we needed to not make fun of each other for farting.
- mrs. reinhart: 3rd grade. she was awesome. she's probably one of the best teachers i've ever had. she taught us rhymes to remember multiplication tables, hatched butterflies with us, and was just a generally great teacher.
- mrs. wagner: 4th grade. worst. teacher. ever. she didn't like me because i didn't talk a lot, even though i was a really good student. she gave me a c in penmanship because she couldn't prove that i was bad in anything else. (srsly, look at my handwriting! it's impeccable!) and she was bad at teaching math.
- mrs. pitt: 6th grade social studies. extra credit for doodling on your homework? yes.
- mrs. dahlinger: 7th grade science. we hatched chickens. we dissected starfish. we studied the circulatory system of a dead cow. we made humans out of spaghetti and cardboard and foam and dishes.
- mrs. lau: 8th grade language arts. she was just fun. i loved her.
- mrs. huck: freshman/junior theology. holy profanity, she was a tad bit insane. she talked in the third person. she made us create a three-minute(?) infomercial on why premarital sex is bad. had us write affirmation letters to nearly the entire grade. we did an activity where we "had sex" with everyone in the class and then compared "stds" at the end. creepy.
- mrs. erickson: advanced math, high school. she hated me. with a passion. just because in the first month i had her, i got the stomach flu and missed a week of school. she saw me as a troublemaker from then on and liked to tell me that i'd never make it in college even though i had a 99.8% average in her class.
- ms. lechner (aka seno): senior year spanish. coolest teacher i had in high school. she made learning so much fun and i actually did a lot better in college spanish because of her tips and tricks and songs that she made us memorize.
