- i went to the dells for the first time. we stayed in this amazing hotel and spent about ten hours a day in the water. it was so much fun.
- i came home to a wedding invitation from one of my best friends from middle school. apparently it was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment type thing, because the wedding is on saturday. sadly, i cannot attend. :(
- i got really sick on wednesday and drove the hour and a half to the doctor on thursday. turns out i have a uti and they put me on two different medicines, one to make me feel better short-term (anti-spasmodic for my bladder) and an antibiotic to get rid of the infection. the anti-spasmodic has turned all my bodily fluids bright orange, but this is to be expected.
- i visited my boyfriend after my appointment and ended up getting about seven times worse while i was at his apartment. he's sick too, some sort of respiratory thing, so i brought him cold medicine and stayed with him until rush hour ended.
- while i was at his apartment, i got a lot sicker and barely made it home in one piece. i was terrified that i was getting a kidney infection, which would undoubtedly result in hospitalization. when i got home, i immediately took the two prescriptions and something for the pain and within maybe three hours i felt a lot better. (i'm not out of the woods for four and a half more days, though. i have a whole list of symptoms to watch for.)
- a bit out of order, but it doesn't go along with the medical stuff: i cooked dinner on wednesday night! i made this really tasty entree with cut-up italian sausage, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, onion, and pasta. it was delicious. then i made a diabetic-friendly cheesecake for my mom.
- and then i caught jon's cold. :'(
